Tenant Application Procedure

The process to rent one of our properties is simple

Following a successful viewing of a property, you will need to submit a tenant application form to our Lettings Team. Once references are complete and your application has been approved, your move in date will be confirmed.

Steps to moving in

  1. Complete your application form
We provide all prospective tenants with an equal opportunity to apply for renting a property. Applicants will receive an electronic application form which must be accurately completed and include references. Please note, if a Guarantor is required, they will also need to complete a section on the reference form. Guarantors must be UK residents and are also required to provide proof of photographic ID and residency.

  2. Tenant reference checks
Once the completed application forms and references are received, these will be processed via a specialist independent referencing agency for checking. Following successful application and reference checks, a full report of all tenant applications will be submitted to the landlord of the property to select who they wish to have as their tenant. If your application is not successful, we will notify you.

  3. Signing your tenancy lease
All applications are carefully considered by the landlord who will make the final decision on which applicant is offered the tenancy. The successful applicant (and Guarantor if required) will receive a tenancy lease agreement electronically for review and signature. This is also an opportunity to seek any legal advice before signing. Each tenant in the property must also provide proof of ID, one photographic and one of residency. A deposit and the first month’s rent will be payable to secure the property. A move in date will be agreed once payment has been received.
